Our Approach
Rosario Pathways operates on a simple principle:
Open access. High standards. Structured progression.
Participants are not screened at entry. Instead, the expectations, rigor, and consistency of the program shape individual growth and determine advancement.
Athletics and academics are not treated as separate pursuits, but as mutually reinforcing domains. Discipline developed in sport strengthens academic persistence. Analytical thinking cultivated in academics enhances performance strategy and resilience.
Leadership
Dr. Hector Rosario holds a PhD in Mathematics Education from Columbia University and is a former tenured professor at the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez. He currently serves as a Courtesy Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Florida. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), a USA Boxing Silver Coach, a U.S. Soccer licensed coach, and a Florida-certified teacher at The Frazer School for Competitive Academics.
With nearly three decades of experience across academic, athletic, and community settings, he has helped students and athletes develop both intellectually and physically through structured training and instruction. His students have achieved distinction at the highest levels of academic competition and scholarship.
Veronica Rosario serves as Director of Aquatics for Rosario Pathways, overseeing swimming instruction, water safety, and youth development initiatives.
She holds a B.S. in Geology from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez, where she was a varsity swimmer and lifeguard. She is an American Red Cross Lifeguard and a USA Swimming certified coach.
A mother of seven, Verónica brings strong leadership, organization, and a deep commitment to community. She is dedicated to building a safe, structured aquatics program that fosters confidence, resilience, and essential life skills.
